Let's Play is looking for an individual to lead a variety of fun-filled activities at our Fun Week programme in the school holidays at Stratford Park Leisure Centre, Stroud. This will include following our timetable and delivering activities to a high standard, catering for all children of mixed ability, aged between 5 and 12 years of age. The daily programme will include activities delivered from our schedule which aim to have a positive impact on young children. The sessions will range from Multi-Sports, Performing Arts/Dance, Swimming, Bouncy Castle, Team Games, Esports, Lego Building, and Arts and Crafts.

Essential Requirements

  • Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.
  • Has experience working at children's holiday camps and/or a childcare setting.
  • Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and general practice.
  • Punctual, Reliable & Committed.
  • Has experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children.
  • Strong communication & organisational skills.
  • Able to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children.

Preferred Requirements

  • Clean UK driver's license.
  • Experience and/or willingness to deliver other activities during our Fun Week provision, such as Arts and Crafts, and Multi-Sports.
  • Completed appropriate courses at Sixth Form, College, or University.

Duties & Responsibilities For This Role

  • Manage and motivate your team, to ensure they are delivering the programme to a high standard.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, the staffing team, and the Directors regularly.
  • Ensure sessions delivered are challenging, realistic & fun for primary-aged children.
  • Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care.
  • Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently.
  • Follow our coaching philosophy, ensuring everything we deliver is: Fun, Inclusive & Educational.
  • Understand the individual needs of the staff and children in our care and challenge/engage them appropriately.
  • Deal with any first aid/emergency situation.
  • Be approachable in liaising with parents/carers.
  • Be committed to ensuring every session is delivered to the best of your ability.
  • Be creative and passionate in your delivery.
