About Us

Our story began with a simple goal to share our love of Padel with as many people as possible. What started as a single court and a handful of enthusiastic players has grown into a welcoming network of clubs where beginners, families, and seasoned players feel right at home. We believe padel should be fun, social, and accessible to everyone, which is why we host coaching clinics, family events and friendly competitions. What we are looking for?

  • Role: Part Time, Padel Assistant / Reception (Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday each week)
  • Contract: Permanent, evening and weekend shift availability required.
  • Located: Lets Go Padel, 22 Great Victoria St, Belfast BT2 7BJ
  • Salary: £8 - £12.71 per/hour

Job Overview

Providing exceptional customer service experience to all members, non-members and guests of the facility. Front facing position, assisting with new enrolments and members queries. Greeting members and users as they come through the reception area. Checking in members and verifying memberships as well as assigning courts and checking reservations and payments. Helping organise and providing information on coaching lessons, courts and event availability. Handling questions about cancellation of membership or court reservations. You will be required to work on a shift/rota basis, including day, evenings and weekends.

Duties

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of leisure facilities, including cleaning and setting safety standards.
  • Providing information to both members and users regarding upcoming events, lessons and availability.
  • Handle customer inquiries.
  • Explain, if necessary, the rules of Padel.
  • Assist members in booking Padel court reservations.
  • Maintain an organized reservation system and schedule.
  • Ensure timely check-ins and check-outs for court usage.
  • Assist in processing new membership applications.
  • Provide support for membership renewals and inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate membership records.
  • Handle basic administrative duties, including data entry and filing.
  • Manage cash transactions and accurately maintain financial records.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • May be requested by the management team to help with creating engaging social media content to generate further awareness of what Padel has to offer!
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
  • Monitor and deliver the cleanliness and orderliness of the courts.
  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all members and guests.
  • Ensuring all equipment is returned and stored correctly.
  • Reporting any breakages or damages to management as soon as possible, as additional fees to players, users or members may be required.
  • Assisting in stock takes of court/padel equipment.
  • Organise activities and events, ensuring all necessary preparations are made for successful execution.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Padel rules, strategies, and techniques would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills for reservation and administrative tasks.
  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and players of all backgrounds and ages.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Patience, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • A passion for leisure activities and promoting a healthy lifestyle is an advantage.
