What started as a single court and a handful of enthusiastic players has grown into a welcoming network of clubs where beginners, families, and seasoned players feel right at home. We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Supervisor for Let's Go Padel, Carryduff.

Role: Supervisor

Contract: Permanent, over Monday - Sunday. Weekend availability required.

Location: Lets Go Padel, Carryduff, 1 Mealough Road, BT8 8BP

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Job Description: Do you have a deep passion for and understanding of Padel and a desire to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with others? Are you passionate about promoting Padel amongst teams, visitors and members? If so, we'd love for you to join our exciting, proactive Padel Team! Successful candidates must have Padel Tennis experience either as a player, coach or event organiser. You will be required to work on a shift/rota basis, including day, evening and weekend shifts. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Help to develop the growth and awareness of Padel at the resort and partnering locations within Lets Go Hydro, leading to increased participation and customer retention.
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Greet members and guests with a warm and welcoming attitude.
  • Provide information to both members and users regarding upcoming events, lessons and availability.
  • Handle customer inquiries and explain the rules of Padel if necessary.
  • Manage the team, ensuring an organised reservation system and booking procedures.
  • Ensure timely check-ins and check-outs for court usage.
  • Manage the process for new membership applications; provide support for membership renewals and inquiries.
  • Manage membership records, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Manage cash transactions and accurately maintain financial records.
  • Monitor equipment used or damaged, accounting for stock takes and the cleanliness of all courts.
  • Monitor booking systems, promote memberships, and forecast future sales.
  • Create social media content to promote the courts, generating awareness to increase revenue.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Padel rules, strategies, and techniques.
  • Proven managerial experience as a Padel tennis manager/coach or playing Padel at a competitive level.
  • Ability to coach and mentor a team, adhering to policy and procedures, creating rotas.
  • Demonstrating creativity, planning Padel events, liaising with departments promoting teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with players of all backgrounds.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate and explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Passion for Padel and a desire to help players improve their game.
  • Flexibility in working hours across all venues, may include travel.
  • Patience, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • First Aid and CPR certification a plus.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Legally eligible to work within the UK.
