Letly is an AI-native property platform that guarantees landlords their rental income. We take on the tenancy, manage everything end-to-end — compliance, maintenance, payments — and pay landlords every month, even when a property sits vacant. AI is what makes the economics work at a spread no traditional agent can touch. We're a small, fast-moving team backed by venture investors, and quality is load-bearing here. Bugs don't just create support tickets — they cost us money or break trust with landlords whose livelihoods depend on us.

We're looking for a QA Engineer to own quality across the full product: the pricing engine, tenancy lifecycle, compliance flows, maintenance coordination, and the real money moving between real people every month. You’ll be the first dedicated QA hire, which means you’ll set the standard — not inherit someone else.

What you’ll do:

  • Own QA end-to-end: test planning, execution, automation, and release sign-off
  • Build and maintain automated test suites across frontend (Angular/TypeScript) and API layers
  • Review user stories and acceptance criteria before engineering begins — catching problems early is part of your job
  • Test AI-generated outputs as first-class features: property pricing recommendations, automated communications, financial calculations
  • Define what 'done' means from a quality perspective and enforce it consistently
  • Work directly with the CTO to embed testing into our development process
  • Triage bugs with clear severity, reproduction steps, and priority

What we're looking for:

  • 2–4 years in a QA or SDET role, ideally at a startup or fast-moving product company
  • Hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright — you write tests, not just run them
  • Comfortable working across the stack: UI flows, REST APIs, webhooks, and async processes
  • Meticulous and systematic — you find the edge case everyone else missed
  • Strong communicator; you can explain a bug's impact to an engineer and a severity decision to a non-technical stakeholder
  • Bonus: you've built an automated test suite from scratch before
