The role involves owning one of Letly's product surfaces end to end — either the money surface (rent collection, deposits, landlord payouts, statements and the ledger underneath them) or the marketplace (AI-Native property management, the vendor network and the embedded products sold into a tenancy). Every product decision made lands in a real tenancy, a real payment and a real operator's day, usually within the week.
Responsibilities include:
- Owning the console the business runs on and the internal surface operations.
- Designing out manual work to improve margins.
- Managing the money surface, including rent collection, landlord payouts, statements, deposits, and reconciliation.
- Overseeing money agents that handle arrears and tenant inquiries.
- Managing the marketplace, including AI-Native property management, vendor network, and embedded products.
- Ensuring a seamless landlord and tenant journey from listing to renewal.
How we work:
- Query data, read tickets, sit with operations, and perform manual tasks before specifying them.
- Utilise AI for research, specifications, prototypes, and analysis.
- Maintain a weekly release cadence with documented decisions based on evidence.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of product ownership in a high-growth environment, including launching at least one product from zero.
- Technical knowledge to discuss system design, APIs, data models, and failure modes.
- Ability to conduct your own analysis and prioritise based on expected impact.
- Operational literacy to design processes and products together.
- Expertise in AI-Native models and specifying agentic products.
- Depth in either payments, lending, insurance, banking, or two-sided marketplaces.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to the other surface (money or marketplace).
- Property or lettings experience.
- Experience as the first PM in a company or a technical degree.
Who does well here:
- Owns the number, not just the roadmap.
- Goes to the operation for answers.
- Decides with incomplete information and revisits when evidence changes.
- Compresses processes rather than adding steps.
Why apply:
Letly is the AI-Native operating company built for the home, aiming to autonomously run rental properties. You'll own the entire loop: build the software, run the operation, and watch the unit economics move. The domain represents the largest financial relationship in most people's lives, and technology now enables us to address it effectively. The surface you own will be among the first to operate autonomously. We offer competitive base pay, meaningful equity, and a small, high-agency team focused on rebuilding an industry and achieving significant growth.
