The predicted salary is between 59400 - 72600 £ per year.

The role involves owning relationships with London landlords from sourcing to closing and protecting the commercials throughout the process. You will work with both company-sourced demand and your own outbound efforts, carrying a number on both fronts. Once a property is live, you will negotiate renter offers to achieve the best possible price quickly.

This position has two levels: as a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will own the full close across every service offered and provide a defendable pricing recommendation. As a Senior BDM, you will carry the largest number, own retention through renewals and re-signs, and set the standard for the rest of the team.

What you’ll own:

  • The close: Manage the entire process from first conversation to signed agreement across the Placed, Managed, and Secured tiers.
  • The price: Recommend and defend pricing based on comparable evidence, condition, and void risk.
  • The commercials: Be accountable for the earnings of the deal, including fee, term, and let price.
  • Your own sourcing: Build relationships with portfolio landlords and referrers beyond company feeds.
  • The trust conversation: Accurately address landlord concerns regarding rent-to-rent and property returns.
  • Senior BDM: retention: Own the renewal number and save landlords at the end of terms.

How we sell:

  • We focus on selling outcomes rather than products, ensuring compliance and proper pricing.
  • Pricing is based on the entire relationship rather than just monthly headlines.
  • Honesty about our commitments is crucial; we do not engage in subletting or short lets.
  • Decisions are based on evidence, including comparables and market conditions.
  • AI assists with preparation, allowing you to focus on selling.

What we’re looking for:

  • Approximately 4+ years of experience in a target-driven environment, with a proven track record.
  • A history of winning lettings and negotiating prices effectively.
  • Grit and a strong desire to win, with the ability to chase difficult deals.
  • Commercial judgement on pricing and understanding of property fundamentals.
  • Ability to self-source and build a pipeline independently.
  • For Senior roles: a record of carrying the largest numbers and owning renewals.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with guaranteed rent, rent-to-rent, or corporate lettings.
  • Relationships with portfolio landlords or relocation agencies in London.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and reporting.
  • Experience in scaling a desk.

Who does well here:

  • A strong desire to win, demonstrated through metrics and conversion rates.
  • Decision-making capability regarding pricing and deal management.
  • Protecting margins diligently on both landlord and renter sides.
  • Prioritising quality over quantity in deal-making.
  • Building a personal pipeline while treating inbound leads as a bonus.

Why apply:

You will play a critical role in an AI-native company focused on efficiency in the rental market. We believe that AI can enhance the management of homes, and we are building a platform to streamline rental properties in London. With $4m raised in pre-seed funding, we offer competitive pay, equity, and a dynamic team environment. The bonus structure is uncapped, allowing for significant earning potential.
