The Role:
- Under the mentorship of the Associate (a chartered civil engineer), your involvement will start at planning support stages, taking in the development of drainage concepts and full technical design.
- You will help prepare flood risk assessments and drainage strategy reports that support planning applications.
- You will be involved in the design of surface water and foul water drainage systems and help to develop SUDS concepts that guide site layouts.
- You will contribute to flood alleviation and coastal erosion work by providing technical evidence and practical designs.
- You will also work closely with planners, architects and other engineers.
