Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus pension, bonus & healthcare

Our client is a structural engineering consultancy delivering projects using a level of automation rarely seen in their sector. This is an opportunity to join a technology focused practice as it increases its market share and scales up its business. The potential for progression and reward is excellent. You will be closely involved in projects from inception to completion and receive mentorship to achieve ICE or IStructE chartership if required.

Your Role:

Your role will be to help design and manage projects throughout the London region, and to provide technical input as they adopt new technologies and refine delivery methods. Their current workload is focused on residential projects, which are ideally suited to high levels of automation. You will work closely with the managing director, structural engineers, and CAD technicians. There will be regular contact with clients and occasional site visits. Projects will typically be designed using reinforced concrete, masonry and steel.

Your Profile:

A degree qualified civil or structural engineer with four or more years building structures design experience with knowledge of commonly used structural materials. An interest in using engineering design software is essential, you should be versed in using industry standard design packages. The practice currently licences Grasshopper, Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, REVIT and IDEA SatiCa. If you are working towards chartership, training and mentorship is provided to achieve MIStructE or ICE membership.
