This opportunity offers progression to directorship and calls for a civil engineer with water resources experience who wants to head up a team with a growing workload. Your Role: You will be heading up the civil/structural water resources team in our client’s well established, multidisciplinary London office. To begin with your day to day work will be overseeing the detailed design of small reservoirs and water retaining structures, including scopes of work, specifications, and tender documentation. Reporting to the Civil Engineering Director you will be managing civil, structural, and M&E coordination across all design stages, ensuring alignment with P&DI documentation and regulatory standards. Duties will include supervising and checking the work of junior engineers, and overseeing multidisciplinary inputs within potable water storage, water supply, and wastewater treatment schemes.

Profile Required: You should be a chartered civil, structural or environmental engineer with at least nine years’ experience in water infrastructure. This should include work on pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, and surface water and wastewater collection systems. Familiarity with industry-standard software such as GIS, Micro Drainage, and Civil 3D is expected. Experience of multidisciplinary project environments and water sector frameworks is highly advantageous.
