An established electrical contractor working within the commercial fit-out sector is looking to recruit a Junior Electrical CAD Technician for its London Bridge office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD skills who is looking to develop their career within electrical design, CAD and building services.
You will be working alongside an experienced project and design team, producing, amending and updating electrical drawings for commercial fit-out projects across London.
The role will include:
- Producing and updating electrical drawings using AutoCAD
- Working from project specifications, layouts and design information
- Supporting the project and design teams with drawing revisions
- Maintaining accurate drawing records
- Assisting with electrical layouts and fit-out drawings
- Developing your technical knowledge within electrical building services
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential
- An electrical background or understanding of electrical systems would be highly desirable
- Previous experience within construction, building services or fit-out would be advantageous
- BIM experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Keen to learn and develop within the electrical design sector
Package:
- £35,000 per annum
- Permanent position
- London Bridge location
- Office-based role
