LET Recruitment is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support young children within an Early Years provision SEN school in Poole and Bournemouth.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you\βll collaborate closely with classroom teachers and support staff to cultivate an inclusive and positive learning environment. Previous experience in Childcare, Education or Social Care is preferred as your skills can have a meaningful impact in this rewarding role.
About you:
We are looking for candidates who are committed to supporting children with SEND including those with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.
A genuine desire to work in this field, punctuality and full-time availability are essential. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Play a vital role in the daily support of pupils.
* Assist pupils in fully participating in classroom activities, helping with personalised learning plans and tailored support based on individual needs.
* Implement strategies to promote both academic and personal growth, including supporting literacy and numeracy development, as well as encouraging positive communication and social interaction.
* Monitor pupil progress, provide emotional support and collaborate with teachers to create an adaptable learning environment that benefits all pupils.
