About us:

Our client is a specialist provider of Residential Children’s homes in Dorset who support young people aged 12-17 to become independent and contributing members of society by helping them to unlock their full potential and achieve their individual goals. They are currently seeking dedicated and caring Support Workers to join their team and support their homes in Weymouth, Dorchester, and Bournemouth.

The role:

  • Ensure all needs and goals are identified and addressed in a support plan.
  • Promote person-centred planning and involvement.
  • Maintain accurate records daily, to a high standard.
  • Involve residents in any decision about their support and future plans in order to maximise service user choice.
  • Liaise with other appropriate services, acting as advocate and support for individuals to ensure they receive appropriate support services.
  • Assist residents to access the community, take them shopping.
