Lester Aldridge is seeking a talented Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor (1–4 years PQE) to join our dynamic and highly regarded team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside two dedicated restructuring and insolvency partners within a respected Legal 500/Chambers UK firm known for its depth across Real Estate, Marine, Dispute Resolution, Charities & Social Enterprise, and Healthcare.
Our Restructuring & Insolvency team operates across our London and Southampton offices and handles a strong pipeline of high‑quality, varied and intellectually engaging matters.
About the Role
As part of our growing team, you will gain exposure to both contentious and non‑contentious restructuring and insolvency work (across both corporate and personal insolvency processes), including:
- Advising insolvency office holders
- Handling insolvency appointments
- Business and asset sales
- Procedural court applications
- Pursuing and defending insolvency‑related claims
- Debt restructuring (including restructuring plans, CVAs and stakeholder negotiations)
- Contingency planning for distressed businesses
- Advising lenders on security reviews and enforcement
- Advising directors on their legal duties
- Section 110 demergers, MVLs, and corporate group simplification
- Advising creditors of insolvent businesses

Who We’re Looking For
- 1–4 years PQE (flexible for the right candidate)
