We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our busy Restructuring & Insolvency team in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your legal career within a highly regarded firm, supporting experienced fee earners on a wide range of dynamic and fast-paced instructions.
About the Role
As a Paralegal, you’ll be an integral part of the team, assisting with both legal and administrative aspects of case progression. With training and support, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting fee earners with progressing caseloads across a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters.
Supporting with administrative tasks such as file opening and closing, billing, diary management, and routine compliance checks.
Preparing legal documents and handling general correspondence.
Liaising with clients and third parties with professionalism and confidence.
Helping the team meet departmental targets by managing competing tasks efficiently and effectively.

What We’re Looking For
A minimum of 6 months’ recent experience working in an office environment.
Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
A confident and professional telephone manner.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to prioritise workload, manage deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
Flexibility, a team-player attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and strong word processing skills (essential).
