About the Role
As a Residential Property Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licenced Conveyancer at Lester Aldridge, you’ll manage your own varied caseload and work closely with clients including individuals, lenders, developers, landlords, and relocation companies. You’ll handle transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring technical accuracy, excellent communication, and full regulatory compliance. You’ll also play an active role in the continued success of the team—sharing knowledge, improving processes, and supporting business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a broad caseload of residential property matters (purchases, sales, remortgages, leasing, transfers of equity secured lending).
- Drafting documentation and conducting title checks for residential and commercial property matters.
- Advising clients clearly and confidently, both in meetings and in writing.
- Responding to new enquiries and connecting clients with relevant colleagues.
- Meeting individual and team performance targets.
- Ensuring compliance with SRA, CQS, Lexcel, AML, billing, and time-recording requirements.
- Staying up to date with changes in property law and best practice.
- Identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting collaborative working and strong internal relationships.
- Participating in marketing, business development, and tender activity.

- Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licenced Conveyancer with experience in residential property transactions.
