Litigation Solicitor - Bournemouth - 0-2 years PQE
Lester Aldridge is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Solicitor to join our successful and well-regarded Litigation & Recoveries team. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your post-qualification career in a supportive environment, gaining hands‑on experience in asset and debt recovery work, while developing your skills as a trusted advisor to clients.
About the Role
As a Newly Qualified Solicitor, you’ll work closely with senior colleagues to advise a range of unique clients on asset recovery matters and assist in conducting litigation. You’ll manage a large caseload, draft legal documentation, and provide clear, practical advice to clients. This role offers excellent training and mentoring, with scope to quickly take on more responsibility as you grow in into the firm.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing a large caseload of litigation matters.
- Advising clients in writing, by email, and in meetings.
- Assisting with drafting documents and correspondence.
- Conducting legal research and developing creative, client-focused solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with firm-wide and regulatory requirements (including AML, billing, and time recording).
- Supporting team members and contributing to collaborative working practices.
- Taking part in business development and networking opportunities to build client relationships.
- Keeping up to date with legal developments and best practice.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience of litigation and high volume work - from a seat during your training is great!
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence in learning new IT systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and discreet approach.
- A process-driven, analytical mindset and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Strong attention to detail is key for this role
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
