Are you interested in finding out what it’s really like to work in a law firm? Our one‑week work experience programme offers you the chance to gain valuable insight into the legal profession, develop key employability skills, and meet professionals from across the business.
Duration: 1 week
When: W/C 10th August or W/C 7th September
Location: Bournemouth
Eligibility: University students interested in a career in law
What to Expect
- Day 1 – Induction & Insight Day
- You’ll begin with an interactive induction where you’ll meet people from across the firm, including trainees, solicitors, and business professionals.
- Learn about the different routes into law – from trainee programmes to apprenticeships.
- Get practical advice on how to stand out in future applications and interviews.
- Days 2–5 – Team Placements
- Throughout the rest of the week, you’ll spend time with a different team each day, giving you a real taste of the diverse work we do.
- You might shadow team members, join in client meetings, or take part in short projects.
- We’ll do our best to take your preferences into account when allocating teams, but placements will depend on availability.
