Lester Aldridge is seeking a talented Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor (1-4 years PQE) to join our dynamic and highly regarded team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside two dedicated restructuring and insolvency partners within a respected Legal 500/Chambers UK firm known for its depth across Real Estate, Marine, Dispute Resolution, Charities & Social Enterprise, and Healthcare. Our Restructuring & Insolvency team operates across our London and Southampton offices and handles a strong pipeline of high-quality, varied and intellectually engaging matters.

About the Role

As part of our growing team, you will gain exposure to both contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency work (across both corporate and personal insolvency processes), including:

  • Advising insolvency office holders
  • Handling insolvency appointments
  • Business and asset sales
  • Procedural court applications
  • Pursuing and defending insolvency-related claims
  • Debt restructuring (including restructuring plans, CVAs and stakeholder negotiations)
  • Contingency planning for distressed businesses
  • Advising lenders on security reviews and enforcement
  • Advising directors on their legal duties
  • Section 110 demergers, MVLs, and corporate group simplification
  • Advising creditors of insolvent businesses
