We are seeking an experienced B2B / technical copywriter who is accustomed to working in B2B communications to support delivery of content requirements for our marketing and PR client campaigns. This role is ideal for a commercially minded writer who can confidently translate complex technical information into engaging, audience-focused content.
You will be responsible for developing high-quality copy across multiple channels - from demand gen campaigns, nurture flows and social copy to in-depth whitepapers and industry insight reports. Although we work in highly regulated and technical sectors, we’re looking for a copywriter who can create compelling and entertaining copy that cuts through the swathes of dry content that we see in the sectors our clients serve.
You will work closely with client services and PR teams, strategists, designers and clients to deliver content that drives engagement, builds authority and supports measurable campaign outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Write and develop B2B campaign copy including:
- Email marketing campaigns and nurture flows
- Landing pages and conversion-focused web copy
- Paid media ad copy (where required)
- Thought leadership and blog posts
- Brochures and corporate literature
- Case studies and customer success stories
- Thought leadership articles and blog content
- Whitepapers
- Industry insight reports
- Technical guides
- Executive briefings
- Considerable experience in B2B copywriting
- Demonstrable experience writing for technical or specialist sectors (e.g. construction, engineering, manufacturing, professional services, energy, SaaS, etc.)
- Whitepapers or long-form reports
- Website copy
- B2B social content
- Excellent research and interviewing skills
- Ability to simplify complex subject matter without losing credibility
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels and lead nurturing
- High attention to detail and strong editorial standards
- Experience working within an agency or fast-paced client environment
- Understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience supporting PR-led thought leadership campaigns
- Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism or related discipline
- Commercially aware and results-focused
- Confident working directly with clients
- Naturally curious with strong analytical thinking

- Self-sufficient and well organised
Working hours: 3 days per week (or equivalent hours across 4 or 5 days). Office based in Manchester (Stephenson Square).
