The Role
Due to continued business growth, we are looking to recruit a Rental Assistant to join our busy Cowes branch. This is a key customer-facing role supporting our vehicle hire operation, ensuring a smooth, professional and efficient rental experience for every customer. You will work closely with the Rental Manager and wider dealership team to help deliver excellent service, maintain fleet standards, and support the ongoing success of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality, efficient vehicle hire service
- Maintain accurate vehicle hire records and administration
- Ensure all rental vehicles are returned on time and in excellent condition
- Carry out thorough vehicle checks on return and report any damage
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Support initiatives to improve efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Ensure all Health & Safety, environmental and company policies are followed
- Maintain a tidy, professional and welcoming dealership environment
