At Leslies Motors we have a fantastic opportunity at our Leslies Chery site in Cowes for a Sales Executive. Full time - Monday – Friday 8.30am – 6pm with a Saturday Rota.

Company Vehicle, 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

Role description:

  • Talks with and listens to customers to build rapport and understands their requirements.
  • Qualifies own understanding of the customer’s needs through discussion and gauging the customer’s reaction to alternative options to build the closest possible match between the product and customer.
  • Demonstrates the most suitable options to the customer, understanding and adapting to their buying strategy and encouraging them to experience the product through a test drive.
  • Uses in-depth product knowledge to guide the customer towards the best choice for them, ensuring the customer journey is smooth and enjoyable.
  • Works with colleagues and other teams across the group to provide continuous improvement and seamless service to customers (e.g. attending to Aftersales customers, with the aim of obtaining new business).
  • Maximises opportunities for sales leads via multiple channels and follow up calls.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Good level of general education (Maths and English GCSE or equivalent).
  • IT skills (MS Word & Excel).
  • Previous experience in a similar role in retail customer service would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

Essential criteria:

  • You must hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Flexible to work hours required for the role and training requirements.
