Do you have French as your mother tongue and some experience with young children? We have a position for a French Teacher for Early Years in our nursery in West Hampstead. This is a permanent position, full-time 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary and holiday: from £25,115 onwards, depending on qualification and experience. If you are not qualified in Early Years, we will support your studies. Visa sponsorship available - to be discussed during the interview.

French Teacher Role:
- Teaching French through play and activities to the children.
- Assisting with all daily routines, supervising the children in their daily activities, helping to organise and prepare activities and materials.
- Supporting the children with their personal care routines.
- Supporting the Key Person with duties that must be carried out throughout the day.
Desirable Experience:
- At least one year experience in childcare, preferable in a nursery setting.
Required Skills:
- French as first language.
- Professional spoken and written English.
- Great people skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with parents.
- Competent IT skills (Word, email).
- Confidence to put into practice what you know.
- Great listening skills.
- Problem-solving & a positive can-do attitude.
- Resilient (strong) yet also caring and great empathy.
- Able to take constructive criticism.
- Able to be self-reflective to improve constantly.
Study Requirement: Unqualified candidates will be required to undertake an Early Years qualification recognised by OFSTED (Level 3) after successful probation period. We will pay for this qualification.
