Les Petites Etoiles – Bilingual Montessori is a chain of high-quality nurseries across North London. Since 2008, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional childcare services in an enriching and nurturing environment. As a Multilingual Nursery, we are committed to providing a comprehensive language experience for children. In addition to our primary focus on French and English, we introduce children to the beauty and richness of Mandarin Chinese. Employment Details

  • Salary: £25,000 (non-qualified) / £28,515 (Level 3 in Childcare)
  • Paid holidays: 5 or 7 weeks depending on qualification
  • Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Visa sponsorship available – to be discussed during the interview

French Teacher Role

  • Teaching French through play and activities to the children.
  • Assisting with all daily routines, supervising the children in their daily activities, helping to organise and prepare activities and materials.
  • Supporting the children with their personal care routines.
  • Supporting the Key Person with duties that must be carried out throughout the day.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • An Ofsted-recognised qualification, Level 3 or above.
  • An Ofsted-recognised Montessori qualification.
  • At least one year experience in childcare, preferably in a nursery setting.

Location

  • West Hampstead – 1 position.
  • Paddington – 1 position.

  • Competent IT skills (Word, email).

Study Requirement

Unqualified candidates will be required to undertake an Early Years qualification recognised by OFSTED (Level 3) after a successful probation period. We will pay for this qualification.
