Some instructors teach the class…Others hold the room. They notice how someone moves. They know when to encourage, when to reassure, when to quietly support. They understand how a body is meant to feel not just how an exercise is meant to look. If you’re reading this and thinking, “Yes, that’s me” - keep going. Because we’re not a typical Pilates studio and we’re not looking for a typical instructor. At KX Pilates St Marys & Blackwood, we’re building a team of trainers who are memorable, not because they’re loud or flashy, but because they genuinely care.
We’re looking for someone who wants to leave a mark. Someone clients remember as “the trainer who made me feel safe, strong and capable.” The difference for us is this: You’re not just looking to pick up a couple of classes while you figure out what’s next. You actually want to be part of a studio where you’re valued as a professional, a leader, and a human. You want to be the reason someone feels confident walking into a Pilates studio for the first time. You want to help people move better, build strength, and trust their bodies again.
You’re not “passionate about Pilates” just because it looks good on Instagram. You believe in it because you’ve seen what it can do. Maybe it even changed your life at some point. You care about doing things well. You’re coachable, open to feedback, and always looking to improve even just by 1%. You understand that consistency, connection and community matter just as much as cueing and choreography. And you’re not here for the short term. You want to grow, develop your craft, and be part of something that’s built to last.
What we’re looking for:
- You must be a fully qualified Reformer Pilates instructor.
- You bring warm, encouraging energy to every class.
- You love building relationships before and after class, not just teaching and leaving.
- You’re a team player who contributes to studio culture (team catch-ups and events are part of the fun, not a chore).
- You’re available for weekend classes.
- You’ll potentially teach across both the St Marys and Blackwood studios.
- This is a casual role, with opportunities for more classes as the studios continue to grow.
What we offer in return:
- A supportive, high-standard KX team that genuinely has your back.
- Mentoring, paid team training and development opportunities.
- Clear pathways to grow into more senior roles over time.
- Free KX classes (because your body matters too).
- Most importantly, you’ll be part of a community where trainers are respected, supported and proud of the work they do.

- Your resume
- Two references
- Your availability (including weekends)
We’re looking to welcome the right person into the team soon. If you’re ready to teach with purpose, grow with a team, and help people feel stronger in their bodies and lives we’d love to hear from you.
