Overview
Empwr Training & Performance (Empwr Training) is a female-owned and operated mobile personal training business. We currently service 43 suburbs across Melbourne and are expanding to 208 suburbs between now and early 2026. We’re looking for trainers in the Hawthorn, Newport, Box Hill & Bayswater areas.
We offer our face-to-face sessions in clients’ homes, apartment gyms, or nearby outdoor spaces. Alongside face-to-face sessions, we support clients with nutrition guidance, macros, programmed workouts, and full progress tracking through our fitness app. We also run regular women-only community events, including Beach Pilates, running meetups, photography days, and private gym sessions. Our mission is to build a supportive and empowering community of women.
The Role
We are seeking motivated or newly qualified Female Personal Trainers who have demonstrated specialisation in women’s health & fitness to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone wanting a small number of extra clients each week, with flexible hours around study or another job. You will be allocated to one of our 12 Melbourne zones (7–20 suburbs per zone). We are hiring across all suburbs for an early 2026 start.
Responsibilities
- Program and deliver 45–60 minute face-to-face PT sessions
- Train clients in their homes, apartment gyms, or outdoor spaces
- Program fun and effective sessions (we handle all online coaching)
- Work closely with Dani, our Head Coach, who will manage client goals, nutrition, habits, and app check-ins so you can focus on the face-to-face sessions
- Optional: Assist with Instagram content (Paid)
What You Won’t Need To Do
- Find your own clients
- Do sales, marketing, or take payments
- Pay rent or membership
- Work on public holidays
We handle all client acquisition, onboarding, and communication outside the sessions.
Requirements
- Must live within the service area (please list your suburb in your application)
- Certificate IV in Fitness or equivalent
- Current First Aid & CPR
- ABN
- Personal liability insurance
- Own car (this is a mobile PT role)
- Willing to purchase a few basic pieces of equipment (dumbbells & bands are enough)
- Positive attitude, reliable, and great communication
- Driven to help beginners feel confident and supported
Pay Rates
- 45-minute session: $45
- 60-minute session: $50
- Higher pay for group fitness sessions
- You may receive 2–5+ client sessions per week, depending on your availability and demand in your zone.
