We’re looking for a Coach to join our team at BFT Cheltenham. But not just any Coach - one who is passionate and dedicated, strives for excellence, and is a true Team player who will rise to the standards of our high-performing Team in a thriving studio.
What makes our Team special? At BFT Cheltenham, we don’t just show up - we bring our best selves and energy every day, focusing entirely on our members. It’s not about us; it’s about providing a 5-star experience for everyone who walks through our doors. We know our members, integrate them into our community, and we coach, challenge, and support them. We treat every member like family and ensure they never feel like the grass is greener elsewhere.
Our culture is one of inclusion and support, where everyone belongs - no favourites, no clicks. We work as one cohesive Team, with strong communication, mutual respect, and accountability. We set high standards, follow processes, and never settle for “good enough.” We each have a growth mindset and are eager to learn and upskill. We lead by example, participating in BFT sessions ourselves, engaging in socials, and attending Team workouts and BFT events because we genuinely love being part of this community. Our members’ success drives us, whether it’s achieving personal bests, improving body composition and mental health, or simply increasing attendance. We’re equally driven to be recognised as a high-performing studio.
What We’re Looking For:
- We’re not seeking someone who just clocks in and out a few shifts a week. We want someone whose values align with ours, and who’s dedicated to leaving a lasting, positive legacy as both a coach and a person.
- With a growth mindset, and who gets out of their comfort zone to continually be better.
- Committed to the success of BFT Cheltenham, making a tangible impact on our members and studio growth.
- With excellent attention to detail in coaching, member experience, setup, admin, and cleaning.
- With flexibility and availability across early mornings, lunches, evenings, and weekends (including at least alternating Friday evenings and Saturday mornings).
- Minimum Cert III in Fitness (Cert IV preferred).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver a 5-Star Member Experience every shift, ensuring every member feels welcomed, valued and supported.
- Have a strong understanding of BFT Programming and the ability to coach and educate individuals, small groups, and large classes effectively.
- Actively contribute to membership growth through trials, sales, and retention strategies.
- Play a key role in running our popular 8-Week Challenges and Benchmark Blocks, creating excitement and driving participation.
- Maintain clear communication with the team to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and studio presentation.
- Immerse yourself in the BFT Cheltenham community, participating in sessions and social events.
What We Offer:
- Above-award pay rate.
- Uncapped commission bonuses for sales.
- Complimentary membership for you and a friend/partner.
- Professional development opportunities.
- Opportunities to grow into a Part/Full-time role.
- Work alongside a passionate and motivated team across three sister-studios, with supportive owners who are heavily invested in your success.
- Team bonding and social events.
- The chance to be part of something truly special and make a lasting impact.
If your values align with ours and you’re ready to join a team dedicated to high standards and making a difference, then we’d love to hear from you.
