Here’s the thing about coaching: the studio you do it in changes everything. You can coach anywhere. Count reps, run the clock, clock off. That’s not what you’re after, and it’s not what we do at BFT Brighton, Elsternwick & Hampton. We’re a team of coaches who genuinely push each other. Not in a who’s‑got‑the‑fullest‑class way, but in a "show me how you did that" way. People who want to get better and make everyone around them better, too. If that’s the room you do your best work in, keep reading.
What the job actually looks like: You’ll coach our members through their sessions, learn the BFT method properly, and get proper mentoring from your Studio Manager. You’ll be part of a genuine local community, not a faceless gym floor. And we’ll be straight up with you: a lot of this happens early. 5am starts are part of the deal. If you come alive in the morning, you’ll love it. If that makes you wince, this probably isn’t your role, and that’s okay.
Who we’re after: Cert. III in Fitness, minimum. A real team player, growth seeker and community builder. Character matters more to us than a flawless CV. Bonus points if you’ve coached in a BFT studio before, or already know what makes us different.
What most studios won’t say out loud: We put people first. We’ll back your growth even if, one day, it takes you somewhere that isn’t us. We’d rather help you become a brilliant coach and lose you than hold you back to keep you. If that’s the team you want to be part of, apply below. We read everyone.
Apply: Submit your CV and cover letter via the ‘Apply’ button. Please indicate which of the 3 studios you are applying for on your application.
