Overview
As Senior Medical Advisor for UK & Ireland Neurology, you shape medical affairs strategy and translate global plans into local, high-impact initiatives. You will act as the scientific expert for the neurology portfolio, partnering with cross-functional teams and the clinical community to advance medical objectives. You help ensure compliance (ABPI/GCP) and oversee evidence generation, data dissemination, and education programs. This role offers strategic influence, national medical leadership, and opportunities to drive disease-area impact at scale.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the UK & Ireland medical affairs strategy for Neurology, translating global strategies into local initiatives
- Plan, execute and manage UK medical projects aligned with the strategic medical plan
- Represent Servier UK as therapy area expert, maintaining deep scientific knowledge of assigned products and Neurology
- Provide Medical Affairs support for cross-functional projects including market access and regulatory
- Gather early insights on new neurology disease areas to inform company strategy
- Oversee local evidence generation and dissemination strategy for the product(s)
- Support UK Investigator-Sponsored Studies from a national perspective
- Lead medical education oversight for the product and disease area
- Lead national medical discussions and education development with Therapy Area Experts in line with ABPI Code
- Oversee setup of national clinical studies (Phase 3b, Phase IV, non-interventional) per local rules and GCP
- Provide expert clinical guidance to cross-functional teams aligning with brand strategy
- Act as Company expert in ABPI Code compliance, review, and certification of disease/product materials
Key requirements
- Bachelor in related medical or scientific field; advanced degree (e.g., PharmD or MD) required; final signatory highly preferred
- 4β5+ years in Medical Affairs within pharma; 1β2+ years as medical advisor/final signatory in head office
- Neurology clinical exposure or strong neurology background; solid regulatory/compliance understanding
- Excellent communicator with strong networking and relationship-building; effective cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical data; strategic mindset
- Demonstrated project management experience; good understanding of Medical Affairs
- Digital fluency; experience with digital tools advantageous
- Must be able to work at Servier head office 3 days/week
