Role Description
We are looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Merchandiser to own the trading and inventory strategy across our men’s, women’s and kidswear collections.
This is a broad role within a small, agile team, requiring someone who can move comfortably between strategic planning and day-to-day operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Brand Director, Design, Product Development, Ecommerce and Operations teams to ensure we have the right products, colours and sizes available at the right time, while protecting margin and supporting sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Trading & Commercial Performance
- Participate in weekly trading analysis, identifying opportunities, risks and actions.
- Review sales performance by category, product, colour, size, fabric and season.
- Monitor bestsellers and slower-selling lines and make recommendations on replenishment and exit strategies.
- Provide clear commercial insight to support business decision making.
- Range Planning & Product Strategy
- Analyse sales data to recommend optimal range size, category mix, colour balance and pricing architecture.
- Partner with Design and Product teams to ensure collections are commercially balanced whilst maintaining brand identity.
- Identify opportunities for core continuity styles versus seasonal fashion pieces.
- Inventory & Supply Planning
- Own stock forecasting and stock health.
- Manage intake plans and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Make recommendations on repeat orders for core cashmere and best-performing styles.
- Monitor stock cover, sell-through, aged stock and availability.
- Work closely with suppliers and operations on delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Ecommerce & Digital Trading
- Monitor online performance and customer purchasing behaviour.
- Ensure key products and sizes remain available.
- Analyse conversion, product performance and customer demand.
- Work with Ecommerce and Marketing teams to support launches, campaigns and seasonal trading moments.
This position requires proactive communication with store teams to ensure product availability, alignment with brand standards, and a consistent customer experience.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ merchandising experience within premium fashion, luxury or lifestyle brands.
- Strong understanding of knitwear, cashmere or premium apparel is advantageous.
- Commercially curious with strong analytical ability.
- Highly proficient in Excel and confident working with sales, stock and margin reports.
- Comfortable working autonomously and making recommendations.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to be hands-on in a small team.
