About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable domiciliary care workers to join our team in Falkirk. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
- Supporting with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
- Administering medication as per care plans
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with light household tasks
- Helping clients with mobility and physical activities
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting any concerns to supervisors
Requirements
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be a driver with access to own vehicle
- Candidates must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within six months of employment
- Previous care experience is essential for this post
