We\’re seeking a forward-thinking Production Manager to take ownership of two production sites and drive operational excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership, lean manufacturing expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement. Production Manager – Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage production operations across multiple sites * Drive Health, Safety & Environmental compliance, acting as site lead * Inspire and develop a team of supervisors and engineers * Ensure delivery of quality products, on time and in full, to customer expectations * Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives * Maintain effective stock control and capacity planning * Lead operational reviews, performance management, and staff development * Ensure compliance with ISO13485 and ISO9001 standards * Oversee site maintenance, security, first aid and emergency cover * Monitor trends, investigate quality concerns, and resolve customer complaints * Manage departmental budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities Production Manager – Essential Criteria: The ideal candidate will come from the Manufacturing Industry as a Production Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience: * NVQ Level 3 or higher (or equivalent) in Supervision/Management * Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing * At least 5 years’ supervisory/leadership experience * Proven track record delivering quality, cost, and productivity improvements * Experience implementing 5S, standard work, and using KPIs * Strong understanding of Lean/CI principles and ERP/MRP systems * Health & Safety knowledge, including risk assessments and COSHH * Experience managing budgets and overseeing capital expenditure Production Manager – Skills & Attributes: * Inspirational team leader and people manager * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings * IT literate (MS Office) * Attention to detail and hands-on approach * Committed to professional development Production Manager – Desirable: * Training or certification in Kaizen/Continuous Improvement * Experience in ISO14001 environments * Multi-site management * Experience in both batch and cellular manufacturing For more information please call Paul Gorton on (phone number removed).
