Location : Middlesbrough

Salary : £90K – £100K plus excellent benefits.

A top-tier COMAH Site is now looking to recruit a Head of HSE to join their team.

The company are accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Head of Health, Safety and Environmental – Job Role :

Implement, review and update the company\’s HSE Policies and Procedures.

Manage a large HSEQ & Facilities team (up to 15 members including Senior HSE Advisors, Quality Advisors, Manager, Environmental Co-ordinator and Facilities).

Set the HSE Strategy for the company.

Oversee accident investigations, HSE Training and Inductions.

Head of Health, Safety and Environmental – Person Requirements :

The ideal candidate must come from the Chemical Engineering Industry as a Head of Health, Safety and Environmental, You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience :

  • Ideally hold a NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Ideally a Member of IOSH and working towards CMIOSH
  • Experience of managing ISO 9001 / 14001 / 18001
  • Have experience of managing large teams of people both directly and indirectly
  • Have experience of Chemical Processing, COMAH, or Similar working environments
