A local M&E company who specialises in projects for the MoD are now looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to join their team.
Job Role:
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tidworth for an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager. The EHS Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits, control of contractors, and managing occupational health programs. Day-to-day tasks include accident investigation, preparing and delivering safety training, monitoring site conditions, and implementing safety policies and procedures. The company are also accredited to CHAS & EXOR and so you will ensure these accreditations are maintained. The occasional site visit will also be required.
Person Requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the construction or M&E Industry as an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications, and experience:
- Hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
- Ideally hold an Environmental Management Qualification such as IEMA OR NEBOSH
- Member of IOSH and working towards CMIOSH
- Experience of maintaining accreditations for both CHAS & EXOR
