A large, national logistics company are now looking for a Driver Trainer & Compliance Manager to join their team. As the Driver Trainer and Compliance Manager your role involves both instructing drivers on safe driving practices and ensuring that a company's driving operations adhere to relevant laws and regulations. This includes delivering training, managing records, monitoring driver behaviour, and supporting the company's compliance efforts.
Responsibilities of a Driver Trainer and Compliance Manager:
- Training: Deliver Driver CPC training, conduct driver debriefs, and implement training programmes to improve driver safety and skills.
- Compliance: Monitor driver behaviour using telematics systems, ensure compliance with regulations like FORS, and maintain accurate records for audits.
- Health & Safety: Induct new employees on health and safety procedures, promote safety initiatives, and ensure all employees are aware of relevant regulations.
- Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate records for internal purposes and compliance bodies, such as FORS, to ensure adherence to standards.
- Support: Provide guidance and support to drivers and employees regarding compliance, health and safety, and driving regulations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth Health and Safety and Driver regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge of transport and warehousing
