Within our manufacturing facility in Northern Ireland, Leprino is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support site performance through effective people practices, strong employee relations, and thoughtful partnership with operational leaders. This role plays an important part in building a supportive, inclusive environment where employees and leaders can work together to deliver consistent results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead people practices for the Magheralin manufacturing site, aligning HR priorities with operational needs.
  • Partner with the Site Operations Manager to shape and deliver a clear, practical people strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, leaders, and employee representatives to support open dialogue.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including complex cases and risk-sensitive situations.
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding, ensuring new hires settle in with clarity and support.
  • Support managers with probation reviews, performance conversations, and development planning.
  • Coach leaders on people management, helping them build confident and capable teams.
  • Work with Learning and Development to plan and deliver training that supports site capability.
  • Review workforce data and trends, using insight to improve absence, overtime, and workforce planning.
  • Oversee payroll inputs and reporting, working closely with Finance to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain HR systems and records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with UK data protection standards.
  • Lead organisation development and change initiatives, supporting teams through transition with clear communication.
  • Support ethical compliance activities, including SMETA audits and reporting requirements.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources Manager or equivalent generalist role.
  • Experience working within a unionised or employee representative environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations practices.
  • Experience supporting both operational and strategic HR activities within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • CIPD qualification or progress towards Chartered membership.
  • Experience working as part of a senior leadership team within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with payroll coordination and HR systems reporting.
  • Experience supporting ethical audits such as SMETA within a regulated industry.
