Job Description
Within our Plant leadership team – Leprino is seeking an Engineering Manager to move our organization to an even larger level of engineering and maintenance excellence! We take pride in our vision to be "world's best", it is why we work harder, invest more, and continually innovate.
The Engineering Manager will have overall responsibility for the leadership and development of a high performance engineering team, and the embedding of high standard maintenance processes and practices within a highly automated 24/7 mozzarella cheese production and packing facilit.
- Build lasting relationships with internal teams to support seamless operations.
- Lead, coach and develop reporting engineers and team leaders to ensure capability to deliver current and future business objectives and encourage flexibility and cross functional skills.
- Ensure 24/7 maintenance cover across the site to ensure the execution of all PPM activity.
- Lead an effective culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of plant operations and maintenance.
- Support team development through coaching and regular check-ins – everyone's growth matters!
- Champion a high standard of quality in the engineering department at all times.
- Drive and support a positive Health and Safety culture within the department where H&S is given equal priority with all other activities
You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
- Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
- 3+ years of recent and relevant experience leading and managing an engineering team within a manufacturing environment.
We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2nd class degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline
- IOSH qualification
- 5+ years of experience working in a dairy or food production setting.
