Leprino is seeking to appoint a Stores Co-ordinator on a permanent basis. The role is based at the Magheralin site, working within the Stores / Logistics department. The successful candidate will act as the central point for the receiving and dispatch of goods, coordinating purchasing, stock control, and transport activities while ensuring effective communication with central production and purchasing teams.
The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to support efficient site operations and high standards of customer service, quality, safety, and compliance.

The successful candidates will be required to:
- Act as the focal point for receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods at the Magheralin site, ensuring accurate stock movements and traceability
- Coordinate purchasing, stock control, transport, and SAP activities to meet production plans, customer requirements, and budgetary controls
- Maintain effective communication with Production, QA, Finance, central purchasing, hauliers, suppliers, and third-party cold stores
- Support the effective operation of the Stores Department, including KPI reporting, audit readiness, health & safety compliance, and continuous improvement in Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards
The successful candidates must have:
- Essential:
- Numeracy and literacy skills sufficient to maintain accurate, legible records and to interpret numerical data effectively
- Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office applications, with demonstrated experience using Excel spreadsheets and presentation tools
- Previous experience in a manufacturing and/or stores environment, with evidence of meeting operational targets
- Experience compiling reports and presenting information clearly and accurately
- Knowledge of computerised stock management systems
- A clear understanding of safe working practices within a Stores or Logistics environment
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Environmental systems as they apply to Stores operations
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, including a confident telephone manner and the ability to communicate key data clearly to senior management
- Proven initiative and problem-solving ability
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership capability
- A meticulous, structured approach to tasks, with the ability to adapt to both short- and long-term change
- Flexibility to operate outside normal core hours when required
- Desirable:
- Formal qualification or accredited training in one or more of the following areas: Supervisory Management, Stock Management / Logistics, Food Science or Food Technology
- Previous experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
- Working knowledge of stock control and purchasing systems
- Working knowledge of SAP stock management and SAP purchasing systems
