HR OFFICER Leprino is seeking to appoint an HR Officer on a permanent basis. The role is based at the Magheralin site, working within the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering both operational and advisory HR support across the site. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Officer will support the full employee lifecycle, provide first-line guidance to managers and employees, coordinate employee relations processes, oversee recruitment and onboarding activities, maintain HR systems and data integrity, and support business objectives through effective people practices. The position requires a proactive and experienced HR professional who can build strong relationships, exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience. The role also supports the HR Manager in driving employee engagement, organisational development and compliance initiatives across the site. Why Leprino? The successful candidate will be required to: Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and employment matters. Support employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability and performance management cases. Coordinate and manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring an excellent candidate and new starter experience. Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR and company standards. Prepare HR reports and workforce metrics to support operational and strategic decision-making. Coordinate payroll administration activities and ensure employee data is submitted accurately and within required deadlines. Support learning and development activities, maintaining training records and coordinating development initiatives. Build positive and effective relationships with managers, employees and employee representatives to support a positive employee relations climate. Support HR projects, employee engagement activities and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Ensure all HR activities are carried out in accordance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice. The successful candidate must have: Essential: Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR Officer, HR Generalist or HR Advisor role. Experience supporting employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes. Strong experience of recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle administration. Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as Workday, iTrent, SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent. Good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and HR reporting. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Right to work and live in the UK. Desirable: CIPD Level 5 qualified or currently working towards qualification. Experience within a manufacturing, FMCG or unionised environment. Experience supporting HR system implementations, upgrades or continuous improvement projects. Experience producing HR analytics and management information reports. Experience supporting employee engagement and organisational development initiatives. Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 9:00am to 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm 40 hours per week (including paid breaks) On-site role based in Magheralin
