The Senior Manager - Portfolio Analytics is not just a data expert, but a commercial leader with consultancy-level problem-solving skills to join our high-performing UK analytics function. You will operate across all business functions - from marketing and product to operations and finance - with a clear mission: to understand, optimise, and grow how the business makes money. This role blends deep analytical expertise with strategic advisory capability, delivering insights that shape decision-making, drive revenue, and improve operational efficiency.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Work closely with the Head of Group Performance & Insights, Senior Commercial Director and CCO to embed a world-class portfolio analytics framework to help drive fast, actionable portfolio and business decisions.
- Serve as a commercial thought leader, shaping strategy, challenging conventions, and elevating commercial thinking across the Group.
- Act as a strategic partner to functional leaders (Marketing, Product, CRM, Pricing, Risk, Operations, Finance) to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Analyse end-to-end revenue drivers across acquisition, retention, monetisation, and customer lifetime value.
- Lead consultancy-style problem solving, from scoping questions to prioritising projects, structuring analysis, and delivering clear recommendations.
- Build and deliver actionable performance insights that directly influence revenue, customer behaviour, and profitability.
- Support the Head of Group Performance & Insights and Group Performance Directors in embedding actionable, data-driven insights into regular performance conversations.
- Partner with finance and commercial teams to enhance revenue forecasting, campaign ROI, and P&L modelling.
- Collaborate with central teams to embed and maintain a world-class analytics framework covering transactional, market, competitor, and customer data.
- Contribute to a data-driven culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and promoting analytical best practice.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Proven experience in a commercial analytics, revenue optimisation, or strategy role within online gambling, gaming, or a similarly fast-paced digital sector.
- Consultancy craft - skilled in problem solving (at least five years in a commercial leadership role), hypothesis-led thinking, project prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of how digital businesses generate revenue and profit.
- Expertise across multiple analytics domains: performance, product, operations, customer, and commercial.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with modern cloud data environments (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
- Excellent communicator, able to present complex data in clear, concise, and compelling ways to senior stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative, comfortable working across multiple teams and disciplines.
