About the Role
Sitting within the Central Brand Team, the Senior Partnerships Manager (Maternity Cover) will play a key role in the strategic vision, planning and activation of the UK BetMGM brand partnerships portfolio. The senior manager will work with Premier League football clubs, the PDC and The Jockey Club and other rights holders to amplify partnership portfolios to support key brand metrics and commercial growth. This is a fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave, until June 2027, with the possibility of extension.
You will be responsible for:
- Oversee BetMGM's full partnership portfolio by working with rights holders and third party agencies
- Management of the partnerships and PR team
- Relationship management with key stakeholders across all properties, internally and externally
- Strategic planning and rights delivery in line with local market commercial objectives
- Ownership of the partnerships and PR budget, working closely with finance team
- Identify potential new sponsorship opportunities in sports and casino verticals
- Deliver assets and maximise partnerships with third‑party media platforms
- Work with multi‑channel teams on developing activity that drives fan/customer engagement and campaign strategies for commercial benefit
- Deliver ticketing requests to internal and external stakeholders as required
- Report and present sponsorship activity to senior stakeholders as required
Our successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience managing teams and multiple high‑value partners
- Demonstrated strategic planning and activation of sports partnerships
- Sound knowledge of the sports partnership landscape
- A passion for sports
- An understanding of the gambling industry
- Experience coordinating and executing wider marketing plans across TV, radio, OOH and digital channels
- Support in the development and approval of marketing assets across channels
- Willingness to work out‑of‑hours, attend sporting events and travel as necessary
- Degree level education and a minimum of five years experience in a partnerships/marketing role
