As the Risk, Fraud & Payments (RFP) Manager, you will lead a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to safeguarding our operations while enhancing the customer experience in the UK market. You will oversee the RFP Leaders team, guiding them to meet departmental goals and KPIs while maintaining a customer-centric and efficient approach. Your leadership will be instrumental in defining strategic priorities, simplifying processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, all while fostering an innovative and supportive team environment. In this role, you will work on impactful projects, from creating a strategic and operational roadmap in collaboration with the Operations Director to streamlining workflows for operational excellence. You will partner with stakeholders across various departments, including Data & Analytics, Compliance/AML Governance, and the Product & Tech organisation, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of RFP operations.
  • Managing responsibility of the RFP Leaders team.
  • Follow up on departmental goals and targets for respective TLs, ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Supporting RFP TLs in ensuring that customer queries across all markets are dealt with in a timely manner and achieving pre-set SLAs.
  • Review & define strategic priorities for the team, ensuring a customer-centric approach and maximising value for the business.
  • Close monitoring of performance management and suggest ways to improve department efficiency.
  • Keep operational effectiveness as a priority and suggest ways of simplifying processes, whilst ensuring full adherence to any compliance requirements.
  • Ensure RFP TLs are aligned in terms of priorities and departmental objectives.
  • Together with the Operations Director, help define & deliver a strategic and operational roadmap for Risk, Fraud and Payments.
  • Maintain an excellent working relationship and collaboration with other departments.
  • Give a qualitative analysis of results obtained in close collaboration with the Data and Analytics team.
  • Supporting TLs with issues and escalations from the relevant Compliance/AML Governance Officers including qualitative reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the functions within the RFP area, such as QA, Systems & Training, and the other operational areas, such as CS, SG, and AML.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • At least two years of previous leadership experience, ideally in an online gambling environment.
  • A minimum of two years experience in Risk, Fraud & Payments, alongside an understanding of relevant RFP, AML & SG laws, gaming regulations, and compliance obligations.
  • Flexibility in a dynamic regulatory environment and adapting to RFP processes and best practice changes.
  • Skills in balancing RFP regulatory and risk obligations with maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Employing logical and objective reasoning to assess RFP risks and make informed decisions.
  • Being proactive in staying updated with RFP trends, industry best practices, and emerging threats.
  • Experience in data analysis, specifically the ability to analyze patterns of Fraud & deception.
  • Great time management, attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with the UK online gambling regulatory landscape.
  • Experience with SEON or other anti-fraud tools will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Tableau, and Zendesk.
