Business Development Manager - R&D Tax Incentives
Leonid Group has been retained by a well known and highly reputable R&D tax consultancy that is at the beginning of a very exciting period of growth.
Our client is looking for commercially minded, relationship driven Business Development professionals to help shape this next chapter, with a particular focus on developing relationships and securing new business across larger organisations.
This is not a high volume, transactional sales role. It's an opportunity for someone who understands how to build credibility with senior stakeholders, sell in a consultative way, navigate complex sales cycles and turn strategic relationships into long-term commercial partnerships.
You’ll be joining an ambitious team where you can take ownership of your market, influence commercial strategy and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across larger organisations.
- Building relationships with senior decision makers and key stakeholders, positioning the business as a trusted R&D Tax partner.
- Managing complex sales cycles, from initial engagement through to negotiation and signed agreements.
- Developing strategic relationships with referral partners and professional networks.
- Working closely with leadership to shape and execute the commercial strategy.
What we’re looking for
- R&D Tax experience: 3 - 5 years' experience within R&D Tax would be a major bonus. We are also keen to hear from candidates in professional services who have a proven track record of selling into larger, enterprise level clients.
