R&D Tax Consultant

A rapidly growing Top 30 accountancy practice is expanding its Innovation & Incentives team and is looking for a motivated individual to support clients across a range of sectors with their R&D tax relief claims.

Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside senior team members to manage and deliver a diverse client portfolio
- Join client meetings to explore qualifying projects and relevant R&D expenditure
- Gather and assess technical information to identify eligible activity
- Draft clear, concise technical narratives for submission to HMRC
- Prepare R&D claim reports and Additional Information Forms (AIFs)
- Support wider team initiatives, including marketing and business development
What We’re Looking For
- Degree-level education or relevant experience in R&D tax (not essential)

- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal
