Leonid Group is an international talent acquisition consulting company, relentless in its pursuit of redefining good service in the recruitment industry. We only work on a retained basis, and we have successfully delivered over 98% of our client instructions, placing more than 500 candidates across 13 countries. We operate in the fields of Corporate Governance (In-house Legal, Compliance, Audit, Investigations) and Innovation Incentives (R&D Tax and Grant Funding) working with clients in the UK, EU, US and APAC.

Our delivery model is engineered to deliver the best possible customer service to clients and candidates; we hold ourselves to high standards, offering predefined guaranteed timelines of delivery and an innovative technology platform including video shortlisting. We only work on retained mandates so our KPIs are based on quality metrics, not CVs sent; focused on doing the right thing, not the easy thing.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to exciting growth in our client base within In-house Legal we are looking to hire a quality-focused Delivery Consultant to join our London office. Primarily, the role will support the Head of Legal Recruitment in delivering on a wide variety of search mandates for clients. This will include working on roles across different jurisdictions and at various levels (but primarily Mid to Senior level roles up to and including General Counsel/Chief Legal Officer).

The role will involve undertaking a wide range of candidate sourcing activities including direct messaging, headhunting, writing creative job advertising and managing applications as well as using a variety of tools and technologies to identify and engage with candidates. You will work directly with Clients and Candidates to deliver on every search. This will involve directly managing qualifying calls with prospective candidates, arranging and running LeonidLive video interviews for shortlisted candidates (a 10-minute video interview that forms part of our shortlisting process) and collating and analysing data on each search mandate to help produce a Search Report for each client.

There will also be an opportunity to use our significant tech-stack to assist with business development activities. This might include: mapping the market for potential new clients or interesting candidates, running research projects for salary data or talent insights for existing or prospective clients.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Around 1 – 3 years of previous experience working as either a Researcher or Consultant ideally gained in Executive Search/Legal sector (or other professional services sectors).
  • Full fluency in English (additional languages, especially European languages, are well received but not required).
  • Strong computer literacy (we use a significant amount of technology at Leonid, if you have experience using complex CRMs and/or are handy with a spreadsheet we will be able to train you on all our exciting tools).
  • Putting ethics first. Everyone that works at Leonid wants to do best by our clients, this means we operate with honesty and integrity.
  • Ability to manage your own day/workflow. Everyone at Leonid is given flexibility and trust, we focus on output first which means you’ll be empowered to manage your own time.

WHAT WE WILL OFFER YOU

This role is a really exciting opportunity for someone looking to turbocharge their in-house legal recruitment career. You’ll get access to the best and newest recruitment technology as well as support from experienced consultants (most of our department heads have 10 or more years of experience in their areas). You’ll also be working in a retained only model on low volume, high value placements.

We’re a closely knit group all passionate about changing the ‘broken’ recruitment industry. We offer some market leading perks to help our staff be the best version of themselves including:

  • Work environment: Some people work better in the office, others at home. We have teams located in London and Barcelona but operate a ‘work from anywhere’ policy. Whilst you find your feet (probably for the first 3-6 months), you'll work best from our London office for 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - unless of course you have an emergency/appointment).
  • Health and Wellbeing: Paid sick leave for both physical & mental health. Health insurance via Vitality. Quarterly Health Month Programme which supports and encourages physical activity while raising funds for the Leonid Forest or a relevant charity. An extra Friday off per quarter and £100 towards a wellness activity to support positive wellbeing (an extra 4 days of annual leave per year).
  • Learning & development: Budget of £500 per person, annually. External financial literacy training (once you have passed probation).
  • Holidays & Company Trips: 29 days holiday (excluding bank holidays), inclusive of our health month wellbeing initiative. An annual holiday donation towards charity involvement (e.g. Running a marathon). Quarterly team events (often held offsite in Europe), as well as Christmas and Summer parties. Previous trips have included: Valencia, Porto, Vienna, Bruges. Yearly ‘Working Together’ budget of £750/year to visit the team in UK or Spain.
