Leonid Group is proud to be retained by a leading UK innovation advisory firm that helps ambitious companies secure meaningful grant funding and bring transformative projects to life.
This consultancy supports innovative businesses across a wide range of funding and advisory services, including grant funding, capital allowances, Patent Box, location strategy and R&D incentives. Their strength lies in the quality of their delivery and the depth of their technical capability, bringing together specialists from science, engineering, technology and finance.
The grants team continues to grow, with successful awards delivered across sectors such as life sciences, advanced manufacturing, automotive, agriculture, cleantech and semiconductors, including some of the largest and most complex UK grants awarded to date.
This role is delivery led and suited to someone who enjoys the technical depth and challenge of grant funding. You will take ownership of grant advisory projects from scoping through to submission and post award support, working closely with clients to develop strong, well evidenced applications.
You will spend much of your time working directly with technical teams, translating complex projects into clear, compelling grant narratives and ensuring applications are robust, compliant and competitive. While you will have exposure to clients, this is not a sales role. The emphasis is on quality, rigour and credibility rather than origination.
You will also support junior colleagues, contribute to internal best practice, and help maintain the technical standards that underpin the firm’s reputation.
What you will bring:
- Strong hands-on experience delivering UK grant applications end to end
- Broad technical exposure across multiple sectors, with the ability to quickly understand new technologies and innovations
- Experience working on larger, more complex grant projects, ideally including collaborative or multi partner bids
- A structured and detail focused approach to writing and application strategy
- The ability to manage multiple projects in parallel while maintaining quality
- An interest in expanding your exposure to EU and international funding programmes over time
- Experience from a consultancy or advisory background is highly desirable.
Why this role stands out:
This is a chance to focus on what you do best: high quality technical delivery. You will work on meaningful, complex projects with clients who value rigour and expertise, within a team that is well supported, growing steadily, and committed to maintaining strong technical standards as it scales.
