This is not a high-volume sales environment. The focus is on building long‑term relationships, understanding client challenges and positioning a premium advisory service in a rapidly evolving market.
The role
You will play a key role in driving new business activity, developing your own pipeline and building strong long‑term relationships with clients, introducers and professional partners. Working closely with technical specialists and senior stakeholders internally, you will help businesses understand the value of innovation incentives and guide them through the wider advisory offering.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and convert your own pipeline through targeted, relationship-led outreach across multiple channels
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients and position a premium advisory offering
- Educate businesses on innovation incentives including R&D tax, Patent Box, grants and capital allowances
- Build and nurture referral relationships through your network, introducers and professional partners
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to progress opportunities effectively
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM reporting
- Travel nationally where required to meet clients and build relationships face-to-face
