Leonid Group have been retained by a well-established Innovation Incentives consultancy in the search for a Business Development Manager to join their growing team in London. Our client has a 35-year heritage and over 250 experts & advisers, specialising globally in the tax incentives space.

About this role

For this role we require individuals that have proven sales and business development experience in one of, or all Innovation Incentives services (R&D Tax, Capital Allowances, Land Remediation, Grant Funding, Patent Box etc.) You will be required to build a network from which to develop client opportunities. You will have full autonomy for your work and must have the gravitas and charisma to build your own portfolio. Exceptional communication and negotiating skills are a given as is a comprehensive understanding of the R&D Tax industry with demonstrable awareness to be able to give instant guidance to clients.

Responsibilities within the role

  • Ability to run 360 sales process
  • Adopt a consultative approach, with emphasis on a quality driven, technical sale
  • Ability to self-generate leads, as well as close leads
  • Be able to deliver face to face/virtual sales meetings to C-Suite Execs
  • Be a team player, collaborative and sociable
  • Have an interest in innovation/emerging industries
