We’re looking for an experienced Family Therapist to join our team at Leone Centre, a respected and welcoming therapy practice in London. Leone Centre has been supporting individuals, couples, families, and professionals since 2009. We are a thriving, well-regarded practice with a highly experienced and supportive team.

Location: Online and/or at our welcoming consulting rooms in Fulham, Kensington, Belgravia, or Wimbledon.

Contract: Self-Employed Associate within Leone Centre.

Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on experience and availability.

Availability: We welcome applications from therapists who offer:

  • In-person sessions at our London consulting rooms.
  • Online-only sessions.
  • A combination of both online and in-person sessions.
  • Part-time, with weekday, evening, and/or weekend slots available to choose from. (If working in-person, a minimum of 10 hours per week at our London sites is preferred).

Working at Leone Centre as a Family Therapist: In this self-employed associate role, therapists work within Leone Centre’s established framework, systems and processes, helping to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for clients. As an associate therapist, you will have the flexibility to shape your hours within Leone Centre’s booking framework. Many of our therapists typically offer availability for two days per week, or a few evenings, with the option of weekends if preferred. We make sure you are fully supported on a daily basis. Our admin team is the first point of contact for all clients, so you don’t need to worry about handling introductory calls or booking initial appointments. The admin team will book clients in for an initial paid consultation with you, after which ongoing sessions are arranged easily through our booking system. You are supported by our admin team, who are available Monday to Friday 9 am – 6 pm and briefly in the morning and afternoon on Saturdays for any queries or client needs. Whether working online via Zoom or in one of our peaceful London consulting rooms, you’ll benefit from a system that takes care of room fees, admin, cancellations, and logistical concerns so you can focus entirely on your sessions.

We’d love it if you have: We particularly welcome applications from those underrepresented in the field of Psychotherapy in the UK, including LGBTQIA+ and Black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities. Experience in also delivering individual or couples therapy. Experience working with diverse communities, including LGBTQIA+ clients and neurodivergent individuals.

Essential Requirements:

  • AFT Membership.
  • Registration with UKCP or BACP.
  • A core qualification in counselling or psychotherapy.
  • Based in the UK and holding professional indemnity insurance (including US, Canada, and worldwide cover).
  • Experience delivering family therapy.
  • Confidence supporting a wide range of family therapy issues.
  • Comfortable with digital systems (we’ll provide training) and able to work in a responsive, organised way.
