We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Business Performance & Work Analysis Team, supporting the Dynamic Composite Components Centre of Excellence (CoE). In this role, you will work closely with the Business Performance & Work Analysis Manager to develop, maintain, and enhance key performance metrics and reporting. You’ll play an important part in budgeting, monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and tracking operating costs, helping to drive informed decision-making across the CoE. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-impact environment, collaborating with production teams and management to foster a culture of productivity, performance, and continuous improvement. This role is a JFF level 4. This position is majority on site working, with the occasional opportunity to work from home.

What you will do as a Work Analysis Officer:

  • Assist in the preparation and data accuracy of the Balanced Scorecard for DCC.
  • Assist in the preparation of formal documentation for workload and manning.
  • Analyse and interpret weekly/monthly trend performance data against efficiency, diversions, capacity, cost and labour.
  • Provide clear and concise reports with associated trends.
  • Support the Work Analysis Manager in harmonising a common work analysis methodology, ensuring cross site/plant consistency & conducting analytical reviews of deviations to manpower budgets and task related durations which impact business efficiency.
  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting of DCC Operating costs.
  • Using Works Analysis tools evaluate assigned times and propose amendments.
  • You will undertake any other reasonable tasks that the Work Analysis Manager may require of you so long as you have the appropriate skills, knowledge and support to be able to undertake the task.

What you’ll bring:

  • Excellent IT skills including MS Excel.
  • Analytical and planning skills and good attention to detail.
  • The ability to collect, collate, analyse and present information clearly and concisely in writing or verbally to key stakeholders.
  • Financial awareness (operating budgets and cost control).
  • Flexible and conscientious approach.
  • Knowledge of Work Analysis tools, Power BI and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) would be beneficial but are not essential.

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
