Your Impact
At Leonardo UK, you’ll play a key role in shaping the foundations of enterprise‑wide data and analytics capabilities. As part of our growing data function, you’ll be responsible for designing and optimising data structures that enable trusted Business Intelligence, advanced analytics, and informed decision‑making across the organisation. In this role, you will:
- Design, organise, and optimise enterprise data models and structures that support scalable Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Develop and maintain logical and physical data models for modern BI environments, ensuring data is structured for performance, usability, and long‑term scalability.
- Drive semantic and structural consistency across data platforms and systems, enabling accurate reporting and aligned business insights.
- Work closely with technical teams, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.
- Ensure data is accessible, reliable, and aligned to organisational objectives, supporting both operational reporting and strategic decision‑making.
- Contribute to the evolution of enterprise data standards, governance practices, and modelling frameworks to improve data quality and consistency across the wider ecosystem.
- Support the delivery of advanced analytics and reporting initiatives by creating data structures that empower insight generation and self‑service BI capabilities.

What you’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of data modelling methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, and Business Intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Understanding of data architecture principles and IT service delivery processes.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex datasets to create scalable and effective data models.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities related to data management and integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in data modelling, data architecture, Business Intelligence, or related roles.
- Experience with data integration techniques and enterprise data management environments.
